What was the highlight of Hotel Principe Real
Our stay was very plesant, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
The staff was great and very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was always good and they were very efficient in getting our order and getting the food out in a timely manner.
I thought the room, bed, etc was somewhat dated. But overall it was fine.

Good
The staff were great and the breakfast was good. Central location to walk to places. Nice to have a fridge in the room.
There was alot of noise from building works a couple of doors along the road. This also included noisy trucks delivering etc. and started from 7.30am to 6.30pm. the road is quite busy and noisy anyway - even with earplugs in. Not great if your room is in the front and if you want to not be woken too early whilst on holiday.

Comfortable and spotless room. Perfect location for the local scene. Friendly staff.
Good location for local cafes, bars and restaurants. Short walk to closest Metro station. Great air con (which makes a huge difference!). Nice balcony. Room spotlessly clean. Lovely en suite bathroom. Friendly staff and extensive breakfast menu.
Mattress was too firm for my taste and the plastic protector underneath was not comfortable (though the bedding and pillows were great). I prefer having own key to enter hotel after midnight rather than knocking and waiting for access but that is just personal preference.
